Asbestos Aid actively supports important new developments into the treatment of the deadly asbestos tumour mesothelioma.

To this end:
  • we sponsored a major mesothelioma conference with leading international speakers which was held at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in September 2005
  • we have created a web site for the Mesothelioma Research Fund which conducts pioneering research
  • we have sponsored Live at Barts in 2004 and 2006 to raise funds for mesothelioma research
